Some yoga experience is necessary. Continuation of breathing techniques, more challenging asanas and learning vinyasa flow. Building on meditation.
(Beginners and Intermediates) This class will keep everyone happy, with enough basics and challenges to suit everyone's needs. Lots of modifications will be taught to make the poses work for individuals.

Muscle relaxation, breath awareness, de-cluttering and focusing the mind, counting breaths, body sensations and guided imagery are all techniques that you can practice to help with stress and insomnia.
This class is particularly effective for students who are new to yoga and also to students who would like to gain more flexibility and better posture. Yoga props such as: blocks, straps, blankets and pillows are used to help students gain flexibility and confidence. The last half-hour is devoted to Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep". (see Yoga Nidra above)
